The Bearwin Sisters, Donna and Claire Steir, believe life should be colorful and fun. They design their fiber
art to delight both the eye and the heart. Texture plays a large part in their work: The quilts they create are extensively
quilted and embellished. The silk scarves they create are hand-dyed and hand-painted, one at a time, in a process that can
take several days for each scarf. Their silk ties are likewise hand-dyed and hand-painted. No two are ever alike! In their
studio in Northglenn, Colorado, they continually try new and different color combinations on the silk scarves and ties and
experiment with new fabrics and fibers on their quilted wall hangings. They hope you enjoy their art as much as they enjoyed
creating it!
